A fresh, vibrant concept inspired by the beauty and spirit of Laos. Designed in partnership with Ann and Tarique Ahmed, Gai Noi brings a light, joyful energy to the Minneapolis dining scene. From brand strategy to visual identity, I helped craft a look and feel that’s casual yet chic, layered with meaning, texture, and a sense of play. The name, drawn from a beloved Laotian rice, translates to “little chick,” and the branding carries that warmth through expressive typography, organic forms, and a tagline centered around love—a subtle thread connecting the family of restaurants.
